These notes are linked to any sort of asset, the most common are:
Partial capital protection with attractive coupons: It pays fixed and high coupons (set up at the issuance) and protects the invested capital as far as the underlying security underperform a specified percentage.
Capital protection and performance covering. The note protects a greater capital amount (between 90% -100%) despite the underlying security performance. At maturity, the investor receives the capital protection plus an interest attached on the underlying security performance.
